The rules for using Monexus International Academy — accounts, purchases, course access and acceptable use.
1. Agreement to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Monexus International Academy. By creating an account, enrolling in a course or making a purchase, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Needs legal review: Insert the full registered company name and address. Acceptance is currently captured by a notice shown on the sign-up form and recorded against the account — confirm that this is sufficient in your markets, or whether an explicit tick box is required.
2. Your account
When you create an account you agree that:
- The details you give us are accurate and kept up to date.
- Your account is personal to you and must not be shared with, sold or transferred to anyone else.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account.
- You will tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
3. Course access
When you enroll in a course we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to access its lessons for your own learning. You are buying access to the course, not ownership of its content.
Some courses are free, and some offer free preview lessons or a trial period. Where a trial is offered, its length is shown on the course page before you start.
Needs legal review: Confirm what happens at the end of a trial — whether it converts to a paid subscription automatically, and what advance notice of that is legally required.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on each course page and include any taxes where indicated. Payments are processed by Stripe; by purchasing you also accept Stripe's terms.
Needs legal review: Confirm the currency, whether displayed prices include or exclude tax, and your obligations for issuing invoices or tax receipts in each market.
Where a course is sold as a recurring subscription, it renews automatically for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account, and access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
Needs legal review: Auto-renewal is tightly regulated in many markets — confirm the required pre-renewal reminders, cancellation route and disclosure wording before launch.
We may change prices for future purchases. Changes never affect a course you have already bought.
5. Refunds and cancellation
If a course is not what you expected, contact us and we will look at your request. Refunds may be reduced or declined where a substantial part of the course has already been completed or downloaded.
Needs legal review: This is the clause most likely to be unenforceable as written. Set a definite refund window and conditions, and check the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content in each market you sell to — consumers often cannot waive it, and starting a course may or may not forfeit it.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, record, download (except where we provide a download link), republish, resell or distribute course materials.
- Share your account or login details so that others can access courses they have not bought.
- Attempt to bypass payment, access restrictions or lesson locks.
- Upload or submit anything unlawful, abusive, or infringing on someone else's rights.
- Interfere with the platform's operation or security, or attempt to access other users' data.
7. Intellectual property
All course materials — videos, documents, text, quizzes and images — together with the platform itself, remain the property of Monexus International Academy or its instructors and licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
Needs legal review: Confirm who owns course content where instructors are contractors rather than employees, and that the necessary licences are in place.
8. What you submit
Quiz answers, survey responses and support messages you send are visible to course staff and are used to mark your work, improve courses and answer your questions. Do not submit sensitive personal information through these forms.
9. Course changes and availability
We may update, add or remove lessons to keep courses current, and we may occasionally take the platform offline for maintenance. We aim to keep courses you have bought available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
Needs legal review: Decide what you owe a student if a purchased course is withdrawn entirely — for example continued access for a stated period, or a pro-rata refund.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, particularly where course materials are being shared or resold. You can close your account at any time by contacting us.
Needs legal review: Confirm whether notice, a right of appeal, or a refund of unused paid access is required before an account is closed for breach.
11. Disclaimers
Our courses are educational. We do not promise any particular result, qualification, certification, exam pass or career outcome from completing them. The platform is provided on an “as is” basis.
Needs legal review: Confirm this is compatible with consumer protection law where you sell — statutory guarantees generally cannot be excluded, and blanket “as is” wording is often void for consumers.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the course concerned. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Needs legal review: The liability cap and its carve-outs must be checked against local law — an unenforceable cap can invalidate the clause entirely. Confirm the required exclusions for death, personal injury and fraud.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Monexus International Academy is established, and disputes will be handled by the courts of that place.
Needs legal review: Name the governing law and the courts explicitly. Consumer rules often override a choice of law and let a consumer sue in their own country, so confirm this clause is effective for your markets.
14. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the platform develops. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Needs legal review: Confirm whether advance notice and an option to cancel are required before changed terms take effect for existing customers.
15. Contact us
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@monexus.com.

The Spanish version is written for Mexican law and is not a translation of this page. Have a lawyer qualified in each jurisdiction review its own version.
